New: Producer departments can now give (or refuse) their prior agreement to examine the application online

With the new version of the CDAP portal, which went live on 25 January, the procedure for requesting access to sources is now entirely online.

The production departments will give (or refuse) their prior agreement to examine the application online: it is no longer necessary to send them a PDF summary of the application by email.

When the request is complete, the file creator uses CDAP to request prior approval from the producer department(s) concerned.

As soon as it has been asked to give prior approval, each producing department can view the changes made to the project in real time and can communicate in CDAP with the project creator and scientific manager (the exchanges can be consulted by the other participants).

Once the application has been processed, each production department enters information into CDAP about whether or not prior approval has been granted.

The researcher will be able to submit a file for examination by the committee if he has obtained the prior agreement of all the production departments concerned.

As the application deadlines approach, the producing departments will automatically receive a reminder of the applications to be processed. Researchers must, as before, request prior agreement from the producing department(s) at least 2 weeks before the application deadline.
